And with a clamping system that has a larger surface area, you won't have to over-tighten the locking thread and end the life of your shockmount too soon. RODE's SMR shockmount also comes with a high-quality removable metal pop filter and a base nut, making your new microphone setup complete.

The SMR is a revolutionary shock mount for large diaphragm condenser microphones from RØDE. Featuring a unique double-Lyre suspension system that enhances vibration cancellation by using a smaller inner Lyre as a tensioning element. This maintains each Lyre in the neutral position where it is most efficient at cancelling vibration. The SMR's removable all-metal pop filter provides an integrated solution for plosive protection that is designed to last as long as the shock mount and microphone.
